Education and Research Profile: Claire has completed her PhD at the Irish Centre for Human Rights, University of Galway, Ireland. She also holds an LL.M in International Human Rights Law and Public Policy from University College Cork (UCC).. The primary focus of her research is on intersectional discrimination against unaccompanied migrant children in the context of reception in European states. Claire was awarded the NUI Travelling Studentship in International Human Rights Law in 2018. In 2019, she co-authored a report commissioned by the International Bar Association, A Child Rights Response to Child Migration and Migrant Children at Risk. She has presented at a number of international conferences and was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford in 2022.
